People's Republic of Capitalism - HD China Documentary
The ambitious four-part series The Peoples Republic of Capitalism takes viewers beyond the often seen China depicting the complexities of an emerging capitalist economy tethered to an authoritarian government. In preparation for this project I have done an extensive research in New Yorks Chinatown. Photographs of found objects, snippets of newspapers and original illustrations all shaped the stage for the final animation and set the mood of the documentary.
